Scientific Method
Purpose - What do you want to learn
the problem that you are answering in this lab?
Research - Usually found in the text book sections/class notes and web site. This is discussed during the pre-lab.
Hypothesis - Predict what you expect to happen in the experiment and why you expect it to happen
Experiment - Do the Procedure and materials- Perform the lab - *Summary paragraph of what you did in the procedure.
Analysis - Recording your observations and completing any data charts
Conclusion - Answering your hypothesis - what happened vs what you expected. What factored into these results. What recommendations could you make.
