6W - Civics - Interactive Map

Project objective - To create an animated video of each student house in relation to Nelson Rural School and to describe their journey to school.

Project Plan -
1. Create a Map Template of that can either be scanned or is directly created in SMART Notebook. The map should be accurate that it has landmarks (CO-OP, Papa Joes, Bridge, Fire Hall, Mill, Extra Roads...) The template should be colored and represent the area.
2. Design a way to demonstrate how you get to school (School bus that travels along CLONED pages a little at a time)
3. Record your animation - use SMART recorder located in the SMART tools. Remember to select an area and pay attention to details of your recording.
4. Edit and Add Music to your video in Windows Movie Maker. ***When you are working on a project "save as" When you are finished and you want to save as a movie "finish movie - save to my computer"
