8M had a competition to create the best gulf stream animation. Students were given the double period to complete the task, they will have 30 min on Friday morning to pass their project in with background music and saved in .wmv format. Please note: 1 water temp as a factor in gulf of mexico 2. more evaporation in gulf 3. winds moving warm air 4 differences in climate. (You do NOT have to focus on the NA gyre because the surface currents are not a major focus)

6W civics - worked on google earth to view sections of Miramichi city - understanding the 4 ways to leave/enter the city and we began to view the structural organization of the city government.

7's had their final class to pass in their projects on decomposer, 1 energy cycle 2 decomposer conclusion- all projects must be handed in Thursday before class and we are having a quiz on Decomposers from your notes on Thursday.
Note: 4 marks constructed response to hypothesis, 3 marks variables, 3 marks recommendations

6's we reexplained the concept of a dichotomus key and we followed specific steps to answer 4 questions working broad to specific. Students then restarted their dichotomus key assignment on Arthropods - students will be given their arthropod in the final period on Thursday. - this project will be completed Thursday - Test to follow.
