Finishing Civics Map Project

After you have created all of your SMART board slides...

1. Use the smart board recorder - located on smartboard tools. Once you have finished the project it will save the project as a .avi file. Please save the project as "yourname - map project.avi"
2. Create a project folder on your memory stick. Call the folder - map project
3. Cut and paste your .avi file into your project folder.
4. Go to www.jamendo.com and get a free music sample and save it to your project folder on the memory stick.
5. Open movie maker - import your video and import your audio - place them in the timeline and edit them as needed. When you are done, select finish movie - save to my computer. Save the file as "yourname - map project.wmv" Movie maker always saves videos as .wmv ---remember if you choose save as - it will save the project as a movie maker file and it will not be a useable video.

Students have lunch hour on Wednesday to work on the project.
