Rundown or current events

8M - Has passed in their Miramichi conclusions on Friday. They then worked that period on their full lab write up of the Miramchi Comparing Climates. This project is due Monday Dec 8 in class. On Monday students worked on class notes of the impact of temperature and overfishing on ocean species. During Wednesday's double period students will be watching "An Inconvienent Truth" and they will have a 10 marks assignment based on this film.

8H - Has passed in their Miramichi conclusions on Monday. In class on Monday they worked on their Miramichi Comparing Climates project, it is due Monday Dec 8 in class. During Today's double period they view "An Inconvienent Truth" while they watched the film they were asked to identify 3 tasks (see blog entry) They are to type and pass in their assignment for Thursday in class.

7H - Science - Students wrote their Unit Test of Interaction within Ecosystems - a one week flex will begin to work on Conclusion writing.

Social Studies - Students finished their Canada Maps presentation and had in pop quiz - Students will next learn about First Nations people and what life was like before european contact.

6/7 P 6's - Have their section test - invertebrates and vertebrates - see test outline below. After they will then learn about adaptations and natural selection.
7's - they have their unit test on wednesday - they will then have a flex week to work on the skill of writing a conclusion.
